Serving as Vice-President and Secretary of the Oregon Hypnotherapy Association and a Professional Member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, Genvièv is a Certified Hypnotherapist and Forensic Hypnotist. Based in Portland, Oregon, she holds national qualifications as a Master Hypnotist and Instructor in Emergency and Pain Control Hypnosis.
After studying philosophy and psychology, Genvièv graduated from the Department of Doctorates of the Sorbonne University of Paris and from the Silva Institute of Psychorientology, which she attended both in Paris and Los Angeles. A graduate of the National Guild of Hypnotists and of the Mottin & Johnson Institute of Hypnosis, she practiced Shamanic healing with Lakota Indians, QiGong healing with Eastern Masters and various forms of energy healing with European Masters. She extensively studied the teachings of Zen and their applications in modern Western lifestyles.
Genvièv is an Emergency Medicine First Responder, certified by the Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS and the Emergency First Response Corporation. She served on board the Professional Ski Patrol of Mount Hood.

An internationally published author and speaker, Genvièv writes and lectures extensively on the science of harnessing the power of our subconscious mind. In 2003, she teamed up with the best-selling book series Chicken Soup for the Soul to release a new title dedicated to inspiring readers to overcome obstacles and reach for a better life. She appeared in leading French and American television and radio shows, including a Discovery Channel special filmed in Monaco. Genvièv has over 20 years of experience researching, practicing and teaching the concepts and applications of hypnotherapy and personal development in the US and overseas. Throughout her career with leading international corporations, universities and schools, she taught CEOs, corporate executives, athletes, students and private clients to use the power of their minds to transform their existences. A graduate of the University of La Sorbonne, Paris, with a Master's Degree and a DESS, she also holds a Baccalauréat in Philosophy, Literature and Languages obtained with honors from the Academy of Literature of Nice, France. Headquartered in the heart of the beautiful Pacific Northwest, in Portland, Oregon, Genvièv consults locally, nationally and internationally, in person and remotely, wherever you are in the world. Her areas of expertise include working with trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, goal achievement as well as enhancing personal, professional, academic and athletic abilities.
